    Precautions

    Precautions for using small air-cooled single cylinder diesel generators:

    1. First, add engine oil. For 178F diesel engines, add 1.1L, and for 186-195F diesel engines, add 1.8L;

    2. Add 0 # and -10 # diesel fuel;

    3. Connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery well, with red connected to+and black connected to -;

    4. Turn off the power switch;

    5. Push the engine running switch to the right and turn it on;

    6. For the first use, hold down the pressure reducing valve above and gently pull the rope 8-10 times by hand to lubricate the oil and allow diesel to enter the oil pump;

    7. Prepare well and start with the key; After starting, turn on the power switch and plug it in to power on.

    When shutting down, the load should be disconnected first, the power switch should be turned off, and then the key should be turned off to shut down the machine;

    Maintenance:

    Change the oil after the first 20 hours of use, and then change the oil every 50 hours of use thereafter;

    The load power cannot exceed 70% of the rated load. If it is a 5KW diesel generator, the resistive electrical appliances should be within 3500W. If it is an inductive load motor type equipment, it should be controlled within 2.2KW.

    Developing good operating habits is beneficial for the service life of the generator set.

    Common issues

    Diesel generator does not ignite

    Cause of malfunction: Fuel exhausted, fuel supply pipeline blocked or leaking, oil quality not meeting requirements; The parking valve (or fuel solenoid valve) is not working; The actuator is not working or the opening of the speed control lever is too low; The speed control board has no output signal to the actuator; The speed sensor has no feedback signal; Blocked intake pipe; Exhaust pipe blockage; Other faults.

    Troubleshooting: Add sufficient clean fuel to the fuel tank, fill the fuel filter with fuel, eliminate air in the fuel supply pipeline, and ensure that all shut-off valves in the fuel supply pipeline are in the open position; Check the power supply wire of the parking valve (or fuel solenoid valve) to ensure it is firmly and reliably connected. Check the working status of the parking valve (or fuel solenoid valve) to ensure that the parking valve (or fuel solenoid valve) can work normally after obtaining normal working power; Check the power supply circuit of the actuator to ensure that it is firmly and reliably connected. Check the working condition of the actuator and confirm that it can work normally after obtaining a normal working power supply; Check the speed control lever to ensure that its open position is not less than 2/3 of the effective position formed by the actuator. During the startup process: measure whether the working power supply of the speed control board is normal; Measure whether the feedback signal of the speed sensor is normal; Measure the voltage signal output from the speed control board to the actuator. Check if the wiring connection from the speed sensor to the speed control board is firm and reliable; Remove the speed sensor and check if the sensing head is damaged; Measure the resistance value of the sensor; Check if the installation of the speed sensor meets the requirements. Check the intake duct of the engine to ensure smooth intake. Check the exhaust pipes of the engine to ensure smooth exhaust flow.
